TCR Vβ8は、TCRBV8S1またはS2とも呼ばれます。Vβ8は、ヒトT細胞レセプタの多型性β8鎖です。正常末梢血CD3+細胞の2.6~5.1%が陽性となります。Vβ8は、Staphylococcal Enterotoxin E （SEE）の標的です。このシーケンスは、TRBV12-3、TRBV12-4とも称されます（IMGTの遺伝子命名による）。
