CD3ζ 鎖は、抗ヒトnon-CD抗体のTCRζを参照してください。CD3抗原は、γ鎖、δ鎖、ε鎖、ζ鎖、η鎖の５種類のポリペプチド（順に25-28、21、20、16、22 kDa）の複合体です。ζ鎖は、 CD3複合体中ではしばしばジスルフィド結合のホモダイマー、またはη鎖とのヘテロダイマーとして存在します。 CD3は、T細胞レセプタ（TCR）を含む大きな複合体の一部です。成熟T細胞及び胸腺細胞に発現します。外来抗原が MHC複合体を介して TCRに提示されることによってT細胞の活性化が誘導されます。体外診断用医薬品
